Hey,
I joined up with a 3v3 arena team last night and the first thing which I noticed was my potion button was grayed out. Do ANY consumables work in the arena? Elixirs? PvP pots? BG PvP pots?

Does the battle standard work? It says only in battlegrounds, so I suspect not.

If all consumables are not allowed, having at team with a warlock is HUGE. You can have a healthstone, where teams without warlocks have no self-healing for non-healing classes.

How about worn items which provide healing... there's a trinket or two which have a use ability. The talisman of the alliance does.

I guess I'll have to hope and pray my mark of conquest procs a lot =]

It's been awhile since I cruised the officials, but I'm under the impression that, at 70 with 5v5s, Warlocks are not that desirable on Arena teams.

im not sure about that...read the warlock forums and read the topic "arena builds" out of the top 200 arena fighters 131 of them are warlocks

Didn't you read the latest patch notes? Alchemy is bad, mkay?

No pots, no bg battle standards, no abilities with cool down longer than 30 minutes (aka. no self-rez from shamans...etc), no engineering items, no netherweave net.

Healing trinket work, items that give heal on dmg work.

What? Engineering items don't work in arenas? Is there a particular class of engineering items that don't?

Your Mark of Conquest will work. Mine goes off about 5 times per Arena 2v2 battle. Bandages may be used as well.

A rogue shot a rocket at my face the other day while I was running laps on my mount. I would say Eng items work just fine.

I doubt it was an engineering item. Engineering items don't work, don't even bother using bombs, invisible cloak...etc.
