uhh probably dumb question ye but I keep reading about and addon button in game and I dont have one. Is there something im missing?

If you have not installed any addons, you will not have this button show up. Once you have installed some addons in c:\program files\worldofwarcraft\interface\addons , then it will appear in the bottom left corner of your character selection screen.

It's on the Character Selection screen, in the bottom-left. Not strictly 'in-game' as far as I am concerned.

It may not show until you have something in your /interface/addons folder.
