Can a lvl 62 paladin and a lvl 70 player (if it needs to be a certain class just tell me what would work best) make it to and kill Tendris Warpwood in Dire Maul West?

I am working on my paladin epic mount quest chain and I am having a really hard time finding groups for the instances. I have heard that he isn't too terrible to get to and kill so I was wondering if this was possible. If so I will see if I can "hire" a lvl 70 with the key to go with me.

I don't see why not. Bring another pally or druid, yall can live through hell and come back with a smile on your face.

But I have an even better question. Do you "like to play"?

I "like to play" warcraft.

Remember to clear ALL the elemental trees from the surrounding area before you tackle him.

It used to be that you could sneak in, kill him and get out. He has even been soloed by a lvl 60 shammy IIRC. He now calls for help from said elementals, if there are any left.

Good to know :) So theoretically, myself and a decent lvl 70 character should be able to get to the area, clear the elementals, and take down warpwood if we are careful about it?

A 70 can solo him with consumables easy.

Level 60 hunters used to do it all the time.

We did it with 2 70s (hunter, rogue) and the pally (62) that wanted him for the quest. The only reason the rogue was there was to open the door... then he realised he had the crescent key... then I (hunter) realised I had the crescent key... sigh.

I reckon not a tough solo on a 70 hunter.

Not tough soloing as a hunter. He died before the adds had time to come, and that was with mm/survival hybrid specc. A BM hunter would cruise through it.

Found a lvl 70 druid to go with me. It was very easy, in and out in 15 minutes.
