So last night my guild ran Kara with both our shadow and holy priests MIA. Our healers were 2 pallies and a feral druid.

First of all, it can be done. Can I just give props to our 2 paladins, who are probably the best paladins on the planet since they managed to take on healing with only a gimp feral druid as backup while maintaining an alternating chain-fear on the fourth add.

I didn't really have a point. I'm just proud of my Paladins. If you get bored and want a challenge go try this next week.

I appreciate this post. Always like hearing people doing what the majority says is impossible. Challenge and creativity is what I love in this game. Thanks

It is no problem doing it without any priests.
We 've done it more times without a priest then with one.
It's just an other tactic people have to get used to :)

I have to say, doing moroes without hunters or shackles is impressive.

Yep, we usually have a pally fearing, works well- we learned the encounter with only one priest in the raid, and killed him third try. Doing it with *no* shackles or traps is sweet though- be proud of your raid. Pulling off stuff like this is one of the most fun aspects of the game, /salute.

Makes our clear of heroic SP last night with warrior, rogue (no imp sap), facemelter, healy druid and hunter (mm spec) seem positively sensible (even though we were using some stupid tricks to get through). Most of us were wearing quite a lot of blues, and we had a blast. God damn all those trap-immune mobs :)

Grats to the Riff Raff, you guys always rocked. Nyx will always my favorite Pally.

It was the "find all posts by Blueblud" button that gave you away. Everything was Druid related and you're the only Druid we've lost. No one really stepped in to take your place, both of our raiding druids are feral. Our healing team can feel your loss.

We had a blast with you too, man. We were sad to see you go, but your loyalty to your friends is just another one of your good qualities.

My raid leader announced, after last night's wipes, that we were silly to attempt it with only one priest and that we'd concentrate on Maiden until we could go back with two... :hanky:

Spank your raid leader, we learned the encounter with a single priest, and killed him third try. A positive attitude is a wonderful thing.

We did it last week with one. Priests aren't exactly falling from the skies these days so we take what we can get. Our MH's are a priest and a paly. That's why we have OTs for :)

I thought imp sap was now a trainable skill for all rogues..??!!

After this next patch, (2.1.0) rogues will be able to sap without breaking stealth without having to spend any talent points. Until then, if they aren't spec'd for it, they cannot imp sap.

Sap automatically has a 100% chance not to break stealth after the patch, not yet.

edit: Damn you Schift.

Think I posted a small blurb in another moroes thread about doing the same (me and a buddy healing) several months ago, now. Its amazingly fun for everyone involved, but I wouldnt recommend it with some of the add randomness. Certain combinations definitely work better than others.

We never have priests for Moroes anymore - our only priest is having a baby now so its not an option. We have 2 Huntards and 2 Warriors who know what they are doing though, so 2 adds are ice'd and the other 2 adds are tanked between the MT & OT until killed while 2nd Warrior also builds aggro on Moroes for gouges.

I haven't tried yet, but I wonder if an affliction lock could kite an add with Curse of Exhaustion until its ready to be killed as well.

I have not tried this, but I would bet 50g that those adds are immune to CoEx.
