thought i would be slick and put an enemy player in mc and then make them attack a mob so once it broke they would have to fight the mob and me...however much to my dismay once the control broke the mob came after me....


this does not make sense, of course i want it to work my way, but really think about it why would that mob come after me? he doenst know i had the player mind controlled. I imagine this was abused at one point? Or has it always been like this?

Dont know about that....but you can still have some fun with MC. Go to a goblin town and MC an opposite faction. They will be attacked by the guards (and get killed)....but you will too. So unequip your gearz first!

Ooo i can answer this easily, since I play a priest. When you MC a perason they become your minion/pet thus any agro generated is atributed to since its your minion/pet. This is why when you do what stigg said they guards will attack you as well. The same princiable applies to warlock's and hunter's. And its always been like this since i recall.
