Experience per session?

Is there anything that I can bring up on screen to tell me how much experience I have built up after each session played?

Not Ingame that I know of.

There are a number of addons that can do it - if you have fubar, get experienceFu. That tells you everything you wanted to know about Experience, and then some :D

Or if you have Titanpanel, it has the exact same screen as Dark Matter showed.

On a sidenote: What addons are a must-have for a newcomer?

There are no Must Have addons, as you don't have to have any to play the game.

I always use Metamap (Co-Ords,tracking, Boss Loot Tables); Titan Panel (Mail, Xp,Ammo, Tracker, Bank Items,); Extended Quest Log; Auctioneer; & various class specific addons.

Come to think of it, probably too many.

I just installed titan, great add on. Lots of info without obstructing the screen.

Titan Panel makes my computer suck. Would FuBar be a good alternative to this?

I also use Cartographer, which is nice because it shows me everything on the map without discovering it.

Modless is the greatest thing you can do while playing wow. It's the only thing that keeps you from going to sites to look up coordinates and dont read quest texts and stuff. also keeps you from getting depressed if you cant hit your xp/hour rate. AND keeps you from getting scammed by auctioneer if you wanna do some auctioning.
