I am in need of a thread meter since I out-dps'ed our tank last night (new gun and all  )

I heard KTM is a good one, but where can I get it? I can't download it on this site.

Is it safe? (to download)

Is it good?

Can I use it when soloing to see my pet's and my own thread to avoid pulling enemies from my pet?

When used in a raid, does everyone has to use it? Or does it work when only I have it?

H.

For a threat meter to be any good, everyone has to be running it. The only common one is KTM. Thus, that's your choice, it's what your raid (and most importantly) tanks will have.

Yes, it works when you're solo to see your pet's threat. No, it's not on wwn. You need to take a trip to curse gaming to grab a copy. Yes, it's safe. Yes, it's reasonably good, though not 100% accurate.

By the way, you're supposed to out-dps the tank. If you don't, you shouldn't be in the raid. Pulling aggro off him too much, on the other hand..

Yeah, that's what I ment.

Yesterday I had some problems because of a new gun and a new tank.

KTM it is then.

thank you Moopy!

Welcome :)

(Be aware that it's only really useful measuring threat against a single mob that is being tanked (i.e. the tank's target), but that's the one that you're shooting anyway, right?)

If I wasn't, my time here would be waste, don't you think?

I have studied your teachings, Mr. Moopy

I'm having a bit of a problem. I just upgraded to the latest X-Perl version from 1.8.6 and I loved seeing the 'aggro' warning whenever I generate too much hate (being a mage, this is awesome in 5 man and raids), but now it seems to have vanished. Before, it was under the 'Helper' tab, but it's not there anymore. Should I re-install X-Perl? In the 1.8.6 screenshot, it clearly shows the helper tab, is it in a different location in 2.2.0a? Has that feature been removed altogether?
