Where to level?

I'm a 20 lvl orc warlock. I were leveling in The Barrens, killing pigs (17-20). But then I went to Ashenvile. Kinda hard - some high level flying creature, invisible elfs - my VW died a lot of times (and I had to sacrifice him few times too).. Anyone knows better place?

Do every quest in the barrens, that is great xp and they stack very nicely, then take a trip to stonetalon to do quests there. Hillsbrad has some nice quests, but if you are on a pvp server, choose the time of day wisely, and still expect to get ganked. Ashenvale IMO isn't very good til the mid 20's for quests, when you can pick up most of them and stack them. Once you get thru with those zones, and are 27ish, thousand needles will be the best place overall for quite a few levels because of all the quests there.

Til the mid 30s, questing will get you much better xp than grinding.

tarren mill is pretty good at that level. plus in ashenvale on the west coast at zoram strand i think is a little lower level than the rest of ashenvale. not positive on that one though.

I had remembered TM to be more like 30ish, rather than 20....But, I could be misremembering.

To the OP: I'd go lower barrens...work your way south from XR, to Camp T, doing quests all over, then to thousand needles, then Shimmering flats.

Thats what i did and there you can go to maybe 23-25 depends or check out Sliverpine Forest in the Eastern Kingdoms. Ashenvale isnt that good for lvling while horde:tongue:

only thing there is that low 20s get ganked like $&*! over and over, unless your in a RP server...
