Hi, I'm level 35 right now but I've been power-leveling my enchanting as much as I can (160 atm with Belf, so +10 extra enchanting for me). Instead of going to the Master enchanter in Uldaman is there one in Shatt City?

And if I ask a mage nicely (w/tip!) would I be able to enter Outlands at level 30-40something depending on whenever I'm able to get a master enchanter training?

As far as I know, it is possible (I've seen several low level characters in Shattrath City). You can also get a warlock to summon you (if you happen to know any).

But do Ulda anyway... it's good fun :)

Im WAS in the same boat. Until yesterday. A mage was just gonna charge me the cost of the rune (19s) to port me to shatt. I ended up paying him a gold, just because.

But yes.. The master and grand master trainers are there.

A few things.

You need the artisan trainer, not the master trainer. The artisan trainer will teach you expert enchanting, which is the 150-225 range. The master trainer will teach you artisan enchanting, which is the 225-300 range.

I've never had a horde enchanter (I've got one enchanter, and vowed never to do that grind again), so I can't tell you where the Horde artisan trainer is. I do know that the Alliance artisan trainer was not in any of the main cities, so the Horde one may not be either.

The grand master trainers (who are only in the outlands, though there are multiple ones there) won't train you until lvl 50 or so, and they will train you for master enchanting, which is 300-375.

As for getting to the outlands before lvl 58, the level you can get through the dark portal, yes, it can be done at any level. You'll need a lvl 65 (or higher) mage to portal you to Shattrath, or a friendly warlock who is in a group to summon you.

Finally, yes, Ulda is fun once, but not until you're in the low to mid 40s, and not over and over. you can take a small group of lower characters as far as the enchanter trainer, but once you get past the trainer, the level of the mobs starts going up. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any other instance where the trash gets that much harder as you go through it.

You can go to Outland, with a summon, at any level. Assuming you got TBC installed and registered.

I'm not sure if there's an enchanting trainer in Shattrath, though..

Gnomer. I've seen a lvl 50something mage getting owned by the mine-placing-thingies right at the end.

But yeah, it's 1 of the more tricky instances..

And, I think you can get all levels of enchanting from the guy...

Bear in mind that there are character level restrictions. Therefore, you cannot go above enchanting level 300 until your toon is level 50 or above.

Scryer Tier has two, one master and one grand master. Not sure if there's one anywhere else in Shatt.

Ooh, good point. Didn't think of it because Gnomer and BRD are two instances that to this day, I don't know if I've seen them in their entirety. Too big, too all over the place, so I just avoid them. Most of the Uldaman groups I've gone with break up a few rooms past the enchanter trainer, but I did get into one group that three-manned all the way to the final boss before getting our butts handed to us.

Ah yes, it's engineering that they lack.

Gnomer: Did it last week. Level 59 twinked up BM hunter, so wasn't even a challenge. Well, it was a challenge to keep the guys who were paying me to do it for them alive, but other than that..
When they say "Stay away from the edge", they aren't kidding.

BRD: Last I heard was a very well geared pre-TBC group (all lvl 60s of T2 or better) doing it in.. 11 hours, I think.
I've done all parts of it, though, just never in the same group..
