Mage twink?

Me and two of my IRL friends came up with the idea to twink at 29 together. I've got a mage pretty close to 29, and just want to know, is it worth it? I mean, like 95% of twinks seems to be rogues and warriors, and I don't really know if mages scales that good with gear.
Is it worth it?

Sure, if you get the gear and can play the class well, you can be extremely deadly in the 29 bracket. 29's is ruled by hunters though, so expect frustration from that class, but just about every other class, you can be very effective against twinked out.

They also make great flag runners in the 29 bracket.

The most fun for me as a mage in battlegrounds was the 40-49 bracket. I stayed in the 48-49 level for about 2 months (no joke) and it was a sad day when he leveled to 50. He had the best gear a 49 could get for the most part, and everything was pretty balanced in terms of the classes.

If I had to PvP earlier though, 29 was the best because you can spec a little deeper into a tree and you have blink + you access to AB now.

I have a 29 twink hes good he allways comes in the top 3 so i strongly suggest the 29 twink mage
