what was the original WOW end game?

What was the original WOW end game? Was it UBRS/Scholo/Strat? Or were one of those instances added later? Were they 5 or 10 man? When did DM go in? When did the other end game dungeons go in? (MC, BWL, etc.)

i think DM was introduced quite late. around patc 1.4 ? And UBRS was endgame before MC got into the game. Scholo and Strat were also 10 man raid instances for some time. ANd UBRS was 15 man.

I remember all the crazy reports of the 2 Giants at the mc entrance having over 100k life ! Boy we were shocked !

First time in Dire Maul was a blast. Walking trees that could wipe a party if u pulled more than one. Was really funneh.
Then alooot later came the tier0.5 patch where u had to 5 man the Baron in 45 minutes. I still have nightmares bout that one.
