The Neutral Ground Tavern - ((In-Character RP))

((An idea that sprung to me after working on the Aldor Manaforge quests in Netherstorm. Similar to the debating going on in the inn at Area 52 between the Aldor and Scryer, I thought it might be fun to have an in-character discussion going on here. No storyline or anything, just talk, as long or as short as you like. So, pick a character of yours from either faction, don their persona, and pull up a chair with a glass or pint of your finest.

Please keep things in character, and don't take anything here personally. It is meant to be fun, so have fun, darn it! :grin: ))

I fail to see the purpose to the frantic struggle to shut down these Manaforges. To me, it simply seems to be a denial of power to one faction so that another may gain it. For that is what this is all about, is it not? The quest for power?

Even those with the most noble of intentions are guild of it. *laughs*

The search for that epic sword of death, or that helm of brilliance, or whatever little trinket catches your eye. It is all about power. The desire for it. The absolute lust for it. *gives a sultry purr*

I have no such delusions though. It is why I dabble with controlling the demons we profess to fight. Power to secure my place in the world ... the universe, it seems. Yes, that is exactly what I desire ...

Whazza poor Troll ta do? Me kitty gots ta eat. Ah needs ta be gettin' da armor. Ah gots dat nice bow....ooooh, my precious bow, but me poor back be feelin' mighty exposed wit da armor ah had for way too long now.

Den, doncha get me started on dat dang Warsung Gul....ch! Ah been killin' dem Allies for too long now!

Meybe it's time. Time ta move me carcass down da road to bigga and da betta. Ah jus don' be knowin'.....

Perhaps it's a different kind of road you need to walk down.

You say that you are being prepared by the Horde to fight in some far off place. A place that is not even of our world. Perhaps the orcs have a strong reason to go, or those simpering Draenei. But what of you? Are you satisfied being a simple tool of Thrall and Sylvanus?

I follow 'orders' now simply because it furthers my own goals to do so. But once I pry the final secrets from the Loremasters in Silvermoon, my plans will have come to fruition. But ... I delve to much into my thoughts.

Simply put, what is your desire at the end of this?
