Blood Elf needs help

Ive been playing with a night elf for a while, but thought id have a change and made a blood elf.

Im confused as to the starting point, is it part of Outland, or Eastern Kingdoms or Kalimdor? I've wandered round and cant figure out how to go elsewhere, is there a portal like at Rutheran? Or a boat? Im getting a bit fed up with the same scenery!

I believe it's part of Northern Kalimdor if memory serves. As to get to other places other than walking, I'm not so sure...

The Blood Elf lands are within the ruins of Quel'Thelas (sp?), the former High Elf nation that Arthas decimated in the war.

It is located in northern Lordaran, north of the Eastern Plaguelands. It is a pretty self isolated area. The easiest way out is through the Translocator located in the palace in Silvermoon City. This takes you to a similar device in the Undercity, the Forsaken capital city. From there, you have access to all Azeroth has to offer.

I believe you can also travel south through the Ghostlands and through a 'portal' to the very south, but this will lead you into the Eastern Plaguelands (where mobs are in the high 50s).

The starting point for the BE is a small island connected by a bridge to a fairly large area which is split by the Scar leading up to Deatholme and beyond to an area where you would have to be 54-60.

To leave before you have done all the quests in Ghostland would be detrimental to your future and cheat yourself out of an excellent midgame weapon.

However if you want a little sightseeing, you can go to Silvermoon City and all the way back to the SunSpire in the back of the SunSpire is a room with a red transmutation orb up on a stand. Just put your little gear pointer on the orb and click; in moments you will be in the ruins of Laerdoron (SP). Now you will be able to walk all of Tirisfall Glade, visit the Undercity, catch a blimp ride to Orgrimarr, and suddenly the whole continent is at your footsteps.

Do go back and finish those Ghostland quests though, you will be very happy if you do. Have fun sight seeing :cool:

Do NOT go to the portal to the very south of Ghostlands unless you really like corpse hopping (or are level 55+) In Silvermoon City, there is a portal to the Undercity in the very north area of Silvermoon, and from Undercity you can either exit to go to Tirisfal Glades (undead starting area), or take the zepplin to Durotar and quest in the Orc/Troll starting area (or take the zepp, walk thru crossroads to the Tauren starting area).
