The only time I have tried it is before the second boss was nerfed. That time we killed everything up to him easily and we did not find it that much harder than normal. The second boss however seemed impossible and both our tanks (a warrior and a feral druid) were debuffed to 0% healing and died. Or is it something after the second boss that is hard?

struggled to do it in grp with full tier 4/gruul/kara gear, did it, but scraped thru it, not in anyway worth the effort, rewards were laughable

Only Normal BM is needed for attunement to Kara. Heroic is just for fun and the loot, which as the poster above has said, it laughable considering how well geared your group needs to be to survive.

I have not yet been in there ..but everytime group forums for that instance someone says in general chat "No, I don't want to group for More b**** a**!"

Is so ridiculous. You gotta have a DPS warrior as one of the people on ads so he has a chance of surviving. Even then its insane.

That and old durnholde... ever do that? Patrol with dog? Summons two more hunters? And NONE of them can be CCed? Just great

I would sooner sign up for heroic shattered halls (which is no picnic either).

Meh, I did heroic sethhek halls (ahhhh teh sketties!) last night and it was nothing but a wipe fest. My repair bill was 28g. Which is suprising because we've 1 shotted the place before with no wipes. I dunno. I know I was real tired and it was like 1am... maybe other people tired... just screwups left and right. Couldnt down the last boss cuz healer kept getting in the arcane blast no matter what we tried. Just didnt move fast enough... standing there healing. Arg, and that first boss owned us like 5 times.

Maybe I break from heroic a bit... or go do heroic rampart.

You'd better get used to it, once the patch lands you'll probably be asked to run it a lot more- I believe it's needed for the CLASS EEEELIMINATOR epic druid flight form.

Ugh, I wouldn't even bother with the 2 badges but were farming it for that epic shadow staff one of the warlocks wants.

I dunno why it was so bad. Like I said, maybe just everyone tired... and once you wipe a few times group moral goes down. We've been through there so many times without problems.

You could distract them by pointing them at the lovely caster staff that drops in Kara- from the Curator or such (I forget). One of our locks has that, and is chuffed to little meatballs :)

Anyway, you scared me now. Our GM is a druid, and she wants her epic birdie form. The guild "A-Team" is going to be ordered upon pain of pain into the halls when the patch drops. Here's hoping we don't have a run like your nightmare late-nighter. We're stubborn as heck though, I suspect we'll do it, even if we have to flask it FOR GREAT JUSTICE.

Tough aspects:

The guard pairs. Non CC-able. Hit like bricks. Very hard to hold agro on 2 without a misdirect on the second, because of the uber healing agro. Im wearing mostly epics now and I have to stun one, disarm the other, and shield block to stay alive.

There are two types; the second types dual weild, and enrage, scoring 3K main hand then 2K offhand, for both guards.

First bosses pets. They dot you up with many stacks per each pet, and do AOE damage. You can't just 'fear bomb' them all, you must kill at least the first group then start fear bombinb. Some are immune to fear. Popping shield wall on the first wave so that the healer can focus on your DPS team instead helps worlds. But thats 30 minutes till you can try doing that again. Its also very tough for the group to keep them off the healer, or keep people from dying.

Take a shackle. The undead mage types near the end do this arcane missle that kills just about anyone. If you don't CC it, it probably means your death. Its like a wand attack, cant stop it. Take a shackle (healer or shadow priest) and its much easier.

Last boss is cake if no one is sleeping. Seems like our healer would just "stand there and finish his cast" then die.

Heroics are being majorly tuned in 2.1. I haven't really been running them until the patch... the trash is just insane.
