Transfer from Euro to US server?

Hi there all, basically I have a level 64 mage on a Euro server that I play. Just found out that I have been accepted to do a post grab in the USA and going to have to move there in the summer, was wondering if it is possible to transfer a character from Euro servers to US servers or not?

Also, if it is not will I suffer a huge latency penalty playing on the West coast when the game servers for Europe are based in the UK (I believe..)

I live in Korea and play on US servers (don't think it's possible to get further away than that), and my latency is generally fine. Although lately (for the last 2 weeks) I've been getting pings up to 2 and 5 seconds. That's only been lately though. I reckon you won't have much problem if you continue on EU servers, bring your CDs with you though since if you buy it again in the US it won't work for EU servers.

I have played with quite a few americans on EU servers - they havent been bothered by lag or latency. So just try it out. If everything fails u can always pick an american server (I know - not that easy)

I played for over a year on US servers while living in Malaysia - no problems.
