New patch trailer - Maiev?

Am I the only one that see Maiev Shadowsong (The Warden hero from TFT) in the background at one point in the trailer? Wonder what role she'll play in The Black Temple...

Well, you can get a taste of what I imagine is the storyline there by going through your Aldor/Scryer quests in Shadowmoon Valley, where you will eventually be sent to deal with Akama ...

as a matter of fact, during that quest chain you can see her imprisoned in shadowmoon valley.

Blizz were lazy and just filmed Akama where he is now, they probably didnt realises Maiev was in the background :laugh:

She is the one who deals the finishing blow to Illidan once you beat him.

when u get to illidan, shes gonna hit it fist before your party and solo it. Shell loot him and hearlthstone out. J/k

Yeah, the RPG books really screwed it up. First TFT doesn't show her fate at all, dispite ample opportunity to show her demise/retreat/furious state ect. Then the books declare her to be dead after the battle, and they were suppose to be Metzen's work and the majority of WoW's own lore was already in there. Seemed an abrupt and rather forced killing of the character off scene. Then it's Retconned again and there she is in WoW still. Beats me what she'll do or what she has done, or more importantly what she has done and what she will do two weeks from now when it's all retconned pointlessly again. Changing things for the point of change and contridiction is just daft, make up your minds and stick with it. Six or seven different, seperate Retconns have came and gone all claiming to be "the last great roundup that'll settle the score and put the game's story in concrete". It's pointless to read them now, year to year everything said the last year is thrown out the window.

Like Sargara's own corruption. He was corrupted by the demonic Eradar...who weren't created until after his corruption. A never ending contridicting circle, the chicken and the egg, both caused one another according to two recent accounts from the same guy. Wonderful, clearly well thought through.
