Ok I have signed up for the burning crusade trial but my download speeds at the moments are dismall. So my question to you is if I buy TBC in store tommorrow while im still on my trial (without downloading the burning crusade client) will I be able to play as normal?
Thanks,
Shadat (had to stick lol on the end as shadat seemed to be taken)

If you buy TBC in the store and install it, you won't need your trial. It doesn't cost any more (subscription wise) to play TBC.

If you go and get the store version, you also must make sure you have the regular installed as well, just as an FYI.

I think the trial time starts once you initiate it... You should have waited for the client to download..

You have got the original WoW right? You need it to enjoy the TBC add on.
If so TBC costs no more each month to play than WoW did before (Its only an expansion.)

Yes, if you install the Store Version (its the same as the download one as far as i know) you will be able to play tomorro night, although you might need to download some patches.

Ok, up to you man. I would have installed it to try out the trial, but that's just me. Initiating it, but not installing it, to me, is an exercise in futility. But to each their own.

You install the store version, and you can play. If you got that version, might as well do the full account upgrade to TBC as well while you're at it. The idea of the trial version is to play before you pay. If you initiate it, then buy the box and install the box version, you might as well upgrade your account to a full box account key as well, because you already bought it. If you don't, then you have until your trial version expires, and will then be locked out of TBC once that's complete until you upgrade to the account key which came with the box.
Honestly, if you bought the box, there is absolutely no reason to use the trial. Unless you wanted to get a headstart on getting the client downloaded and upgraded on your computer, which you said you didn't do. What you've done, it sounds, is completely pointless. It doesn't hurt you at all, but it just seems.... silly to me.

Asfar as I remember though you cant actually download the Trial version untilll you have actually Initiated the Trial. At least this was the case a few days ago when one ofmy freinds started his Trial.

Which he initiated the trial, so he could download the trial. It doesn't matter, honestly. Once he downloaded the installer for the trial version, installed it, he'd have that trial access until he got the Burning Crusade box, and then upgraded to a full TBC account.

Hi,
I downloaded the trial and played for a day or so (after the patches).
This is a full download, so after you buy the cd's, you don't need to reinstall the game.... all you have to do is go into your account managent and you will see an option to enter the validation key in a form box, and your account will automatically become a full account instead of a trial account.
Hope that helps.
