Alch/enchant

I heard that an Xmute alch makes tons of money and that enchanters amke tons of money aswell,

I just want to know If this combination is good or not.

You see with enchanting being the best money making pro (from what I hear) and Alchemy being third best I think that this would be the best money making combination.

Why not Alch/Herb?

Well lets say that with Herbalism you gather 100g a day worth of herbs.

And with enchanting you make 150g a day because you disenchant and sell mats and earn good tips from people.

If you are a herb/alch you'll use the 100g worth of herbs to make pots and sell all of them for twice what the mats are worth (200g)

But if you are Alch/Ench you can buy 150g worth of herbs off of the AH and sell the pots you make out of those herbs for twice the mats are worth (300g)


(in other words Ench by itself makes more money than Herb by itself)


Is this correct? My pricing is not as accurate but it just might work.

u do know u will have to like... lvl ur alch and enchanting first... without mats...

that alone is going to cost a boatload.

In the end u can pick anything and it will be rewarding for u , in gold or in items. just pick it if u think its good

If these are accurate numbers, then yes, obviously you will make more money your way. But, as stated above, you need to level up both professions which will take a ton of money. To make any sort of money with enchanting, you either need rare enchants, or be lucky enough to find lots of things to DE to sell.

Where do these numbers come from? Unless you have any facts to back these numbers up, they are meaningless in a comparison. What's to say you can't make 150 gold from Herbalism, and only 100 gold from Enchanting? Suddenly Alchemy/Herbalism is better.

Making money is all well and good. Personally, I'd take professions that help you in the long run, both for what they bring to you as well as potential sources of income.
