I heard and read about "The Consortium Prison" is this a new instance or just a new area? If this is a new instance is there any other new ones out as well?

atm i cannot say more than "read the patch notes", where everything is anounced. I am at work so i lll only find out tonight about the new stuff.

The Consortium Prison is a new level 70 instance, supposedly where the consortium hold all the damgerous villain-types.
(although, if it's anything like the "most dangerous beings in the galaxy" at the end of arcatraz, then it wont be all the amazing :P )

in addition, all herioc bosses now drop epics, rather than just the last bosses
(certain instances [HC Ramparts, Furnace; CR Underbog, Slave Pens) had this already, but it's great to know we can now have more epix!

Ok thanks for the confirmation on the prison. I asked a bunch of friends and they all thought I was crazy or trying to fool them. At last some realief that I was right =)

Cool well i guess thats what ill be doin now when not raiding. Back to grinding Consortium rep and start the new quest line.

Could you be any more wrong?

Etherial prison is an area with 5 man quests afaik. No new instances have been introduced with this patch except Hyjal and BT.

All heroic END bosses drop epics now, and have a chance to drop a gem as well, rather than before they had a chance to drop a gem or an epic.

Afaik Telmar is correct.

The only new "instances" are the two new 25 man raids: Black Temple and Hyjal. There have been several 5 man quest "bosses" added to kill, but no 5 man instances.

As for heroics, all bosses have a chance to drop an epic gem now. All end bosses WILL drop an epic item.
