Shield For A Holy Pally

I'm a 69 Pally, l was woundering whats a nice shiled, l have

Crystal Pulse Shield

And

Draenei Honor Guard Shield

But l know there are better ones out there that are BoP not BoE I didn`t buy them two from AH my friends gave it to me, so l didn`t waste my money on them, if you could help me, that would be awsome!

I use the Crystal Pulse Shield w the +12 INT enchant on it.

Ahh, is that a good enchant for a PAlly ? Coz l got the +stam enchant on it allready, do you know if there are any +healing enchants ?

Currently there are no plus healing to sheild enchants.

You will most likely go from your Crystal pulse sheild to either the Tryptich sheild from Kharazan Chess event or the one from Magtheridon's Lair....the name is escaping me at the moment. If raiding is not your gig there is a nice one purchaseable from the Lower City Vendor for I think 33 badges of justice which you earn in Heroic 5 man instances. And it's name is some sort of Faith Bearer sheild and is about comprable to the Tryptych one from khara.

All depends what you have available to you and what stats you value more.

Id suggest focusing on a SP/Tanking shield, and a pure healing shield. Until you start raiding, id definitely upgrade your Dreanai Honor Guard with the Nethwering Quest shield. It lacks the spell crit, but makes up for it in sta, def, and graphic. Much more hybrid, saving you an extra bank space.

Crystal Pulse -> Faith Bearer's or Trypt is the most likely upgrade path. There is another shield for SP lovers bought with badges as well.

Ya there is a good spell damage one for the pallys interested in that purchaseable through tokens as well as one that drops of nightbane in khara....

and thank you everyone els, l didn`t think that there where that many shileds out there, alltho l hate raiding and would rather pvp, one thing, dose it cost money to make a team or something coz l seen in "Blades Edge " That it cost money for a 2v2 3v3 and 5v5 I was thinking wtf now l got to go out and farm lol oh btw, where would l go to get a good 1h too l`m useing " Mogor's Anointing Club " with +81 healing enchant atm The one that you get from Ring Of Blood, l heard there is a nice one if you get rep with the " The Aldor " and " The Scryers " l have looked and can`t find one =(

The next better shield you will find on my opinion is the shield you get at the chess event in Karazhan for all heal purposes.
Plus 12 int is the best enchant you can make.
The shields you get for the heroic Badges are not so nice - but the helmet or the cloak of the bishop is nice for heal pala.

Where dose the Kara chain quest start, l`v been looking for awhile but can`t find it. =/

for kara go to deadwind pass (fly to duskwood) then end of deadwind pass is gates to kara pick up 2 q's and complete them in the cellars next to the gates then visit a few npc's and do shadow labs then stemavault and arcatraz finish of with the black morrass and you have a key to kara

In the meantime, if you have some cash you might want to consider a blue BoE mace from the AH - The Essence Focusser is good for paladins, and on my server usually sells for well under 100g.

Sweet! Thank you so much dwarfenhelm Can l start the quest at 69 or do l have to be 70 to get it, and allso one more thing with Gurra`s Lair ( Or how ever you wanna spell it ) Do you need to do a chest chain like MC, ONY, and Kara ?

Ok, well on skywall l haven`t seen it on AH nor have l seen anyone with it, l`ll have to look into it, and with the Sha'tar rep, is it really hard to get or is it easy. M`hmm Thank you all for your Help!!

Sha'tar rep is relatively easy if youre already farming for other items/keys. Theres a few quests that greatly help, but mainly it just takes lots of TK instance rep farming (Mech, Bot, Arc).

For 1h healing weapons after 2.1, general progression is Anointing Club -> Essence focuser/Mech mace / SV (iirc) - both are very similar -> Sha'tar Rep mace -> MoV mace -> ...

The exalted mace was excellent before 2.1. After 2.1, the MoV mace became better in overall stats.

The Badge shields are excellent too. The healing shield is a simple tradeoff from the chess event shield. More healing, less crit. Shrug.
