I'd very much appreciate any advice you could give me

I have a level 36 human warlock who has enchanting 105/150 and tailoring 213/300; she has about 160 gold, doesn't need to buy a mount and has treated herself to quite a few nice things from the AH. She's going to be PvPing quite heavily to get the level 45 blues, so isn't anticipating spending terribly much on equipment after then (I love pvp  ).

I also have a level 40 human mage I'm going to move to the same server. She has tailoring 190/225 and skinning 285/300, and also loves PvPing. I'm intending to play both roughly equally, and take both to the BGs, though the mage is now going to have to wait until 46ish.

It doesn't seem sensible to have two tailors, so I'm planning to drop the mage's tailoring, and mining seemed like a good thing to replace it with: I prefer it to herbing though really don't like either all that much. I've also found that low level skins like light leather sold really well, but the stuff I'm getting with my current skill barely sells at all, so am thinking of dropping skinning for jewelcrafting, partly because it's new and exciting and I haven't done it before, and partly because rings, necklaces, etc, do sell well on the realm she'll be moving to.

Does this sound sensible? The mage only has about 40 gold (just bought her mount) so perhaps keeping skinning and levelling mining is wiser? I don't want to shift gold between the two too much. I've also just respecced her to frost from fire so wouldn't mind the powergrind of mining so much as it gives me a chance to try out my new spec

Thank you for any comments.

well if both of you want to actually wear epix that you can tailor youself at 70 you will both need tailoring. If you really want to drop tailoring id probably pick up mining or herb for money.

Mmm, that's a really good point... I doubt I could make up what I'd have to spend on powerlevelling tailoring at 70 by selling ores all the way there...

Damn, another cunning plan scuppered by reality :-(

Many thanks for pointing that out before I made an expensive mistake :-)
