The Arena patch won't download

I try to download the 1.7mb patch, but the downloader gets to 256kb and then hangs there. The downloader keeps downloading - I let it run to 2mb earlier - but it /never/ gets past saying 256mb has been downloaded. It hangs at 14%.

Apparently, making the above post on another account on this computer means I don't get to edit it. >_>

The downloader never would download more than 14% of the patch, or 256kb at a time. But by cancelling each time it downloaded a 256kb section, and reopening WoW and reopening the downloader, nearly immediately it would climb another 14%. So it was stop-and-go and very annoying but by cancelling and restarting I got the whole thing. Was very wierd.

Yeah I dont like the blizzard downloader. It's slow to download and most people have way too many issues with it. I've recommended it a few times, but i'll put it here again cos it's the best way to avoid patch downloading issues; http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_mirrors allows you to download the patches in full. It's great cos you can use them next time you need to install WoW aswell.
