I've tanked a few - Hellfire Ramparts, Mech, BloodFurnace - no real issues.

Looks like I logged with my block gear on, but it's close enough.

*hm* About 25k armour, about 14k health unbuffed, 30ish % dodge.

Druid.

Probably slightly off though, my memory isn't the best.

In general, you should be fine with about 11k health (though I'd avoid the Underbog, unless they nerfed those Bog Lords -a lot-), decently good blue gear and crit immune vs lvl 72 mobs (which is slightly less than the magic 490 needed on raid bosses).

Underbog really isn't a problem like it used to be. The underbog lords aren't all that bad anymore.

ive been tanking a few heroics now and not been having to much a problem. heres a link to my gear http://armory.wow-europe.com/#character-sheet.xml?r=Darkmoon+Faire&n=Dwarfenhelm and you can see im not covered in epics. just get a good healer and you will be ok

i have tanked 4 or 5 heroics so far (feral druid) with 21k armor, 14k health and 25(ish)% dodge. underbog/slavepens u still get hit like you are laying on a railway track with a high speed freight train coming towards you but i found with a good healer we did very well (considering they were PUGs)
last boss in Heroic Underbog still caused us a few problems though

lol same here... we had a good grp - good tank and good healer as well as a good DPS/spot healer shammy

the last boss we did not get after attempts

the adds ALWAYS wents straight for the healer and he couldnt heal himself and the tank fast enuf (was a resto druid) so he would die then we would die

anyone have a good strat for this fight in heroic?

Warrior Baseline: ~12k HP unbuffed, 12k Armor, 490 Defence, ~31% parry/dodge mitigation.

Don't know the exact numbers for druids.

Don't neglect spell damage. Many heroic encounters are essentially DPS races against your healer's mana, so you'll need to take advantage of your strength as a paladin, and frontload a ton of threat so that your damage dealers can burn their hearts out.

Yes, I do, as it happens. It's the "healer doesn't die" tactic :)

Essentially, it all hinges on the wall on your left into the room.

(From memory, VERY approximate diagram, sorry. We seem to have a six-person party, I'll pretend one is a hunter :)

It's a bit like the Firemaw fight in terms of positioning.. The tank and healer are positioned so that the healer has line of sight to the tank, but the boss can't see the healer. The adds, when they spawn, can't see the healer either. The healer should get absolutely no damage at all, if all goes according to plan.

DPS spreads against the back wall- assuming they're ranged. Melee DPS tends to die, but that's happens, annoyingly. The tank pulls the boss and positions him, the DPS gets into position. It's important that the DPS spreads out some, to mitigate the effects of chain lightning. Then it's just a case of tanking like mad, DPSsing like mad. As soon as the boss dies, everyone runs out of the room the way they came in. Run fast, as the adds will be chasing/zapping the party. The healer has the best margin for error when fleeing, which is good- if people don't pay attention, they sometimes they forget to flee, or try to loot the boss :)
