wowdetox.com addon - need LUA help

Can anybody help me with coding simple popup windows? I'm looking to display short text paragraphs on a preset timer for my new addon below:

This is first draft of an addon that displays memorable/funny quotes from the www.wowdetox.com site to encourage healthy playing habits. Random quotes will display in /say, /whisper, /guild, /raid, etc.

This addon is a modification of the ChuckNorrisFacts addon by Edgar De Loa (www.eDeloa.com).

I am looking for an experienced LUA coder who will take the addon to the next level by displaying a popup every 15 minutes (or user specified interval), similar to the WoWTimer addon by Abram. I am not a coder and would appreciate your help! Please contact me or simply post a new version."

I realise this isn't at all helpful but wouldn't this be the most annoying mod in history? Why would anyone install it? If anyone was spamming that in my guild chat I'd kick them.

Agreed - I think I will remove the options to spam quotes into /guild or /raid or /party. The addon is supposed to be tongue-in-cheek, half-joking...just funny reminders and kicks-in-the-butt that all us wow addicts sometimes need to get up and away from the game at times. I would be happy if I was just able to get the quotes to show as a popup on the player's UI. So anybody have an pointers for coding popups?
