Deviate Scale Belt - Twink item ?

Is this a very hot twink item ??

Getting the mats for an alliance player - as well as the pattern - is not a walk in the park. I have read it can go for anywhere from 50g to 120g depending server. Is this the case ??

it is a nice belt, and the recipy is easy to get, even for aliance.. just finish the quest ^^ need one run, so i dont see how this could be difficult.

Every server I have played on, they sell for 5-10g. Its easy to get, just the Perfect Deviate Scales are a bit rough

No kidding... you can run and skin the entire instance and only walk away with 3 or 4 perfect scales...

I mean the belt not the pattern - I have the pattern and the scales, just wondering if twinks like the belt itself.
And getting the scales isn't that easy unless your very lucky with drops.

Yes. Twink Hunters and Rogues need this belt because it's the best available. I run my 55 druid through WC once a month or so to farm for scales. I usually net enough perfect deviate scales to craft a belt every run. But I run every crevice of that damned instance. I know it like the back of my hand.
I hate playing it on my new horde toons... Feel like I live there. And there's always someone saying, "Where the hell do we go now?" Haha.

If so how much do you get on average, just wondering if it's worth the time I spent gathering the scales.

Yes, its a nice twink belt.

I bought mine on the AH for less then I could make one. I don't think its a big money making recipee unless you just like farming for scales.

I can think of more effiicent ways of making money if thats what your goal is.

Yep - 19 twink.
Item is listed in Stigg's rogue twink guide as the item you want for your waist armor.
Well if it only sells for the prices metioned here - it's not worth it to me. I can make that in 1/2 an hour or less in outlands on my main :sad:

i now on eitrigg it sells for 10 to 15g.My wife is a LW and at level 62 she can easily farm for the mats.So its a good money maker to any LW'er that has the pattern

Some people post it for 20+G. They might find someone who doesn't know the average price or they are of the "I must have it now at any cost" attitide and you can get top dollar.

Watch the prices for it on your server for a while. That will give you a good indication of the maket value in your servers economy.

I'm alliance and I never see it in the AH - I'll list it and see what happens.
If it doesn't sell for a decent price I'll just equip it on my 22 hunter.
8-10g isn't worth it to me, I'll let somebody else go through the time to get the scales for that little bit. If I run WC a few more times for the Fang gear for my hunter (just because I like it, lol) and end up with extra scales I'll sell the extra belt off.

I have a nice little money-making racket on my druid alt. I'll spend a few hours fishing for Deviate Fish in WC, then farm the instance for mats. I'm the supplier for a twink guild on that server. They run WSG and eat the fish for fun. Since most of them are rogues and hunters, I craft the belts they wear.
But here's where I make my real money... I'll escort them to WC/VC in groups of 4. I'll clear the instance up until a boss, at which point I invite them in to a group. They'll run in, I kill boss, they get loot. Minimal XP gain. Rinse and repeat.
I get paid well. It's worth my time.

Yup, nice 19 Bracket Twink Belt - Goes for around 20G on my server.
I've got it myself and run WC for the mats every now and then.

Well it sold for 25g last night - so I'm happy and for that amount I'll do it agian. I'll most likely go back there soon anyway to try to finish up the "fang" set for my NE Hunter. I just like to have it for a allinace toon.

WC is a great place to get some twink gear. The Embrace of the Viper set is okay, but the only really nice piece for a hunter/rogue are the pants. The rest is replaceable. But the Glowing Lizardscale cloak (if you can't get the Sentry cloak) and obviously Venomstrike are perfect drops for your twink.

Thanks for that info - not too worried about any twink gear for myself - if I have my NE Hunter in there and it's BoP I'll equip it - I do want the bow however, and I'll have to keep an eye out for that cloak !
I'm not into twinks or PvP too much really - unless it just happens out and about. I just like the fang set - I had it for Orc Hunter too. I'm levelling this toon as quickly as possible while my main gains rest - levels 61 to 70 are crazy high XP amounts per level and it's just so much nicer being rested.
I'll skip most chain quests and mostly grind my hunter - except for the hunter chain in STV - gotta do that one :grin:

It's nice to know the Deviate Scale Belt still has value for twinks though.

Its as expensive as hell on aggamar ranges form 20-120g i have seen lately.....
