View Full Version : Can i run WoW?

I'm hopeing to get WoW this weekend but i want to make sure it can work on my pc. Could someone tell me it this comp will work.
My pc:
OS: Windows Vista Home Basic
Processor: Intel® Pentium® D 925 Dual Core Processor (3.00GHz,800MHz,2x2MB cache)
Memory: 1024MB 533MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x512]
Hard Drive: 320GB (7200rpm) Serial ATA Hard Drive with 8MB DataBurst cache
Graphics Card: 256MB ATI® Radeon® X1300 Pro PCI Express graphics card

Any and all help apreciated.

It'll play ok. The X1300 may suck, but it'll do.

well which of the following 2 graphics cards would work better:

256MB ATI® Radeon® X1300 Pro PCI Express graphics card
or
256MB nVidia® GeForce® 7300 Turbocache graphics card

The GeForce 7300, by far.

It's on the website for Recommended Video Cards.

Personally, I'd really recommend going for a 7600. Much, much better. The 7300 Verses the X1300 is the low end verses the low end. About a quater of the 7600 at barely less.

I agree. The 7300 should be more then fine for WoW at lower settings and decent frame rates but you'll see a very nice improvement with a 7600GS or GT. My GF went from a 7300 to a 7600 and the diff is very noticable.
