I've searched high and low.
Read threads on several forums.
Looked through the Official WoW site.
I'm at my ropes end. Wether it's bad luck, got a blind eye or whatever ... how do you reroll and where do you go to do it? :dizzy:

Start the game, click "Create a New character" and make a new character, you can have up to 10 on each realm, to a max of 50 characters.

At the character select screen, there is a button at the bottom of the character list, which says "Make new character". If you have 10 characters on one server, that button isn't visible, you would either need to change servers, OR delete one of the existing characters to make room for a new one.

Rerolling means multiple things. Are you rolling on items, do you want to change your talents, or do you want to play with a new character?

If your group finds an epic, and you roll 14, you just yell OH NOES I FORGOT MY OTHER DICE and you go like 97 lolpwnd

Rerolling is a term used for whenever you are creating a new character, most likely when this newly created character becomes your main character.
Main character - the character you spend the most time on really.

Enlightening.
I thought creating a new character was referred to as simply rolling, while rerolling, was actual re-rolling, where you ditch your current class (for some time or simply deletes) and rolls again, creating a new character in it's place, often of the same class.

i thought rerolling usually meant deleting your character to start a character on the opposite side..
Ie start as a horde shaman on X server.. reroll as a human paladin on X server

"rolling" a character actually comes from D&D (Dungeons & Dragons, for the unwashed masses). Because you roll dice to get stats and stuff to build the character. "Re-rolling" simply means you ditch the previous character, and make a new one. In D&D, this typically happens when the previous character dies.
The term has remained in-place for really any RPG-like game, including MMOs like WoW. You "roll" the first character, even though there is no dice involved, and then you "re-roll" to start a new character -- with or without deleting the first one (I've seen the phrase "I'm retiring my main and rerolling as something new" -- "retiring" typically meaning you just stop playing the character, but for whatever reason, you don't delete the character). Changing factions, changing races, classes, deleting or not deleting the previous character, these are all inconsequential to the act of "rerolling".

even in wow, the stats are 'rolled' somehow , only blizzard did this for us and its fixed not random. But its the INT, STA, STR, AGI etc scored.. In D&D you roll dice to get these numbers, in WOW a gnome starts with 21 int, and a orc with 19, but he will have 23 strength and the gnome only 18 etc etc (note I just made these numbers up, but it's like this)
