Good grinding point for lvl 50-54 in Un'goro

I went to Un'goro the other day and i kinda liked it.
I realised that the elementals on Fire Plume Ridge drop lots of Elemental Fire, Essence of Fire and Heart of Fire. And so i started grinding them.
By the end. for about 100 kills. I went up around 50k exp. but thats not what im getting at.
I got 8x Heart Of Fire, which sell for 7g each on my server (Earthern Ring)
Around 20x Essence of Fire (which sell from 1g- 4g each on my server)
And also 7x Elemental Fire (They sell for 1.50g on my server) but i kept them, maybe to use later on when i get my tailoring/enchanting up.

Anyway, just thought i'd say, i found it a pretty nifty place to grind, as it gets you exp and money.
I made 60g today just off that, and at lvl 53, thats not bad!

Anyone got any other good grinding places for my level?

They say to follow the Ogres usually. But if that spot works for you, all the better. It is usually well known..or was in the pre-TBC days when Essences sold for 8 gold or so and elemental fires were in huge demand for fire protection potions.

If it is just exp, the guys there should be 1 or 2 levels above you..which might reflect in your XP rate. But different people like different spots. Anything from the Ogres in the ruins of Tanaris to the Timbermaw in Felwood and your elementals should be fine, as long as they drop items that are high in demand or cash...or both..or can be skinned if you are so inclined..

Before BC made most of the stuff there obsolete, EVERY THING in Un'Goro used to be great for making gold... Just by simply running around there aimlessly killing and looting everything in sight.

The soil, crystals, plants, (for a skinner) the Devilsoar Hides (and all the rugged leather you'd ever want), and so on... it was a great zone for grinding - and big enough that you'd never have to worry about it being too crowded.

It's a shame that most of it is now useless- I mean, who's still using the soil and savage fronds to build rep? Or the crystals for their buffs?

ogres are best for grinders in terms of cloth and xp... but elementals are right up there... if you're a couple of lvls above them they drop fast, and the drops are better than ogres :)

For 50-55 grinding nothing beats Sorrow Hill imho, and the Burning Steppes ogres are kind of neat too.

Re Un'Goro; on my server I still get 5-6g per stack of rugged, so you can actually make a descent buck out of an twohour wholesale dino slaughtering skinning fest 8-)

I try to follow the hunter bots. The most recent sighting of them was grinding Nagas in Azhara. I tried it for about an hour and had the Lei of Lilies drop for me. Fortuitous, I'd say. Not that they drop anything else of value so far, a handful of greens and so on.

But yes, I loved the bit of grinding I did in Un'Goro too. Pity about all the Alliance, they were thick as fleas on a mangy dog there.

I grind a lot with my shadow priest. It's the most efficient way of leveling. I grinded in Un'Goro but not the fire elementals. I grinded the Tar Lurkers outside of Marshall's Refuge.
Once your done there at lvl.55 move to NW Silithus where the earth elementals are. Get to lvl.58 there and head to Outland. Free experience ride from there ;)

Did you read the rest of his post? He actually said that you grind up to 58 and then it's free xp from Outland.
