any suggestion to use the extractor

Someone has a good advice to use the extractor properly? (ie: some place that has several clouds, or some instance/route/whatever)

Netherstorm has invisible Mana Clouds (hint: you get 20 mana from...) which gives Motes of Mana.
Zangarmarsh (and Steamvault) has clouds which give Motes of Life.
SMV ones give Motes of Shadow.

You'll need the engineering goggles to see the ones in Netherstorm (or a Warlock Detect Invisibility buff).

They float about all over the place pretty much (even though there's an area they 'patrol').

I've always been curious, how many motes do you get per cloud?

I got 4 motes of life yesterday out of a cloud in Zangramarsh.

About 2-5 motes generally.
