We have reached him now, the last boss in SSC before Vasj and had one wipe night on him looks like its gonna take a while for locks and mages to learn to stop dots and nukes on a changeover like with hydross but besides that does anyone have any tips?

One thing we are trying which looks promising is having dps at far back wall during whirlwind phase and he keeps chaining to the centre of the room when his random aggro switches. Any other nice tipsout there?

Ye, keep a searing totem or two down in the middle of the room, he REAAAAAALLLY hates them and generally goes for them on a switch. Its a fight mainly about positioning and people being aware of their surroundings tbh. Theres no big dps requirement other than the 15% to dead burn.

What we found that first night is that to stand a chance of killing your demon everyone must wear full dmg gear, including the Trees and Full resto/holy specs. Healing didnt really seem to be a problem that fight (More being in range to heal) so the +heal and mana regen isnt too badly missed.

everyone agree that?

Paladins dont need ANY damage gear on for the fight. They can easily manage to kill their demon in the time limit. They'll have to use cooldowns, and make sure they spam any 10 sec+ cd abilities asap, but its easily doable.

Priests, will need about 200+ damage and concentration aura. Spam spite. Win.
Druids will need about 150 damage, plus i'd suggest a +dmg trinket to pop. Sequence should be, moonfire, barkskin, spam wrath till barkskins off, then spam moonfire.
Shaman dont really need much damage gear, maybe 150 at most. Spam those nature shocks. Win.

Priests have no spell called "spite"? presume you mean Smite lol

Yah paladins have it easy, them being demons and all.

Ye, smite, typo :)

Killed him again yesterday, we were right on the deadline with regards to the enrage timer, but we had 4(!!) dps die before he was at 50%. Its a very easily farmable fight once you've learnt it.

Our 2nd night on him we were doing great got him to 14%, 4%, 8%. With an entire minute left on enrage timer. Problem we are having is Having a tank pick him up after his split since all the dps decide to go crazy.
