Well first for anyone familiar with this server let me tell you this (Only windrunner people will know what I am talking about)

Norris or Noris was not a good warrior, yet he had popularity why? Who knows, all windrunner has been has been a popularity contest. Noris couldnt tank a mob on his best day and live, Noris sucked, plain and simple, but then again so did most of anyone on there who was praised.

Orophino.......... heres someone who cant cut it, never could and never will, and this is why you cant get into end game guilds..... you suck that bad baldy.


Ender......according to his gay boyfriend bonkk, everyone praises ender......yeah.. I am sure they do when your the leader of a guild and are a complete loot whore and still dunno wtf your doing.



Now those 3 stooges aside.

go to windrunner and see what happens if you want to join a guild....its....... oh you dont have the spec or gear..............

This is why this server fails in anything in the end game material. You got 10 players who cant do ****, then you got 15 trying to make up for the 10 that dont do anything. This is why this server fails.....right there. I could go into any server, join top end guild, mission complete..... we go to dungeons and raids and get it done.......whats windrunner do? nothing.

You too god damn worried about what people is wearing or how popular they will be, thats your biggest downfall, if you worried more about the player themselves and what they can do, you can probably actually ****ing accomplish something.

I expected a "GM's treat us like crap" or "Our server was down for a WEEK" or something, then I came to see it was just another "Everyone has dealt with this" topic... Option A: Change servers. Option B: Quit WoW. Option C: Leave your main there, and create a new main somewhere else. Option D: Suck it up.

Personally, I prefer it in this order... D, B, C, A. Cause, D, you'll be able to handle something "major". B, You'll stay away from everyone with your crying. C, You'll still have a high level so you can gloat about that. A, you'll be on a different server with a high main that'll most likely have the same problem, getting into an end-game guild.

I'm confused, because of a few people on your server, your server is therefore worthless? You mean to tell me you let them mean that much to your play experience? Get a grip, get a life, move on, or better move off the server.

At any rate, you do not have to be skillful to be praiseworthy. The most I get out of this rant of yours is that you want to be in one of your server's end-game raiding guilds, and can't get in. And so you feel the need to vent your frustrations and call out a few other people, whom I presume are in these guilds.

I would have to submit to you that they must be doing something right, if they are in fact in these raiding guilds. Well, perhaps not this Orophino person.

There is one guild on my server that seemingly is filled with trash-talking uber teenagers, a number of whom I rather loathe with a ever rising passion. But so what? Don't pay them any attention, certainly easy enough to do. Unless you are seriously saying there is only 1 raiding guild on your server?

It just seems strange that you hate this server so much, but don't seem to be willing to do anything about it. You said you could get into any other guild on any other server ... well, then do that, if that's what you want. What's holding you to Windrunner so much?

Is Windrunner perhaps an RP server? If so, then what people are wearing and popularity are more important, because people are role-playing. They're enjoying the social aspects of the game rather than the 'phat lewtz' aspect of the game. More power to them, I say.

Windrunner use to be a server of riches, it stood up with the rest of the world in progression for a while, now its just a big joke, most of the people had back aches supporting an entire guild, so they transfered out, now its noobs left. But for a few people its hard to exactly xfer out when you have so many friends on it, windrunner is just nothing more now then a giant family guild, we all know family guilds dont ever do **** in MMO's.

So hang on. You dont have a decent spec, or decent gear, and you're saying other people fail?

How exactly do you plan to go into another server and join a top end guild if you have a) no end game experiance, b) no gear, c) rubbish talent spec. Can you please clarify?

But wait! Didn't you just complain about people who hadn't accomplished anything in WoW?

I mean sure, bosses in Kara may not seem a lot, but when you say Gruul and SSC I imagine they've cleared Kara? And how far along SSC are these guilds you speak of who hasn't accomplished anything and are being needy for people in decent gear and good specs?

I've been on Windrunner since I've started playing, about a year it’s a standard PVE server. It is not a low pop server by any means. In fact when I started last October there used to be pretty sizeable server queues. This alleviated post BC release with the new servers with free xfers. I haven't had to wait once since. The one thing about the server that I'm not a huge fan of is that the server is one of the highest if not the highest in terms of Alliance to Horde player ratio 3.5-1. My main is alliance so not a problem for me.

As for this guy's post I have no idea what the hell he is talking about. I assume the people he is naming are in one of the few pure raiding guilds. I occasionally raid casually with other guilds. My guild is one of the better known ones on the server and is in the process of instituting a raiding system and team but this was setback recently when we had about 10+ longtime senior members leave. We are lacking in the usual areas to formulate any balanced raiding teams. Honestly they have become a bit too casual for my tastes but I don't have the time to hardcore raid.

The server overall however is not very raid focused. The top raiding guild Forlorn Legacy is in the Eye last I heard, however they did skip Vashj. There are a few others a bit behind them but there are maybe 5 serious ones. On the horde side there are virtually none. Might be one in SSC but that's it.

So it is a small community and with this drama goes hand in hand. However to respond to the original poster that is how most raiding guilds are. If you don't have the adequate gear you're probably not going to be included.

Its hardly ever about gear on who has it or not, my intake on it. These days its a popularity contest on who gets recruited and the whole thing on if The person can play his class or not is usually null and void. Windrunner is famous for popularity contest, they rather recruit someone in the guild whos snobby, bad attitude, who dont have good gear, and cant play his class over someone the opposite, this is why the server as a whole sucks in progression and has been going down hill for 2 years now. I think most of the people who carried the server just left it, now no one experienced enough or good enough can actually bring any guild anywhere and do anything without having to practice something numerous times off of copied material and stratgies you find on the internet.

1. Transfer to a grass is greener server.
2. Re-roll on a different server.
3. Get their friends together and go out and do it themselves.

All three are viable options.
