How do you kill Aldor/Scryer NPCs in Shattrath?

I doubt I'd do this to people since I'd be taking away their NPCs while they're trying to do things but there was a Troll Warrior in the Aldor bank this morning killing the NPCs. It didn't flag him so I couldn't just kill him and he didn't aggro any others while he was killing one. I flew over to the Scryer bank out of curiosity and I didn't have the option of attacking any of them. I am hated and at war with the Scryers but I'm curious, if I was so inclined, how to attack them. :shocked:

That would be quite strange. Shatt is a sanctuary, meaning you can't attack anything or anyone there, even on a pvp server.

I saw people attacking Aldor npc's in bank too. The npc's didn't die though, but would return to their position after a few seconds. The attackers wouldn't get flagged or draw aggro from other nearby npc's either

killed an aldor npc a while back in shattrath, no idea how, I just pressed my mindblast button and pew bye bye npc

I occasionally drop in the Aldor temple and kill their T4 vendor (the T5 vendor is, for some reason, unattackable).

Set yourself to "at war" with aldor in your faction screen.

I'm already hated and set to at war but I can't attack so it can't be just that.

Seems it's always Aldor that's killable

Some NPCs are killable. Others are not. Sounds like sloppy flag management to me.

Scryer bank denizens are killable as well. But they respawn as soon as they die.

Two 70th level Rogues came into the Aldor area yesterday and started killing all the npcs that stand around in formation there ... it didn't flag them, I can only assume it was a quest or something.

If I even get near the scryer side (exclude bank area) on my Dranai I get banished from the city. I never even sided with either one on her. My other chars are free to roam the city. Are Dranai automatically hated by the scryers?

Draenei start friendly with Aldor and Blood elves start friendly with Scryers. However, when you do Khadgar's quest to choose a side, your initial reputation is overwritten.
