Character Transfer

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, and I apologize if this is against the forum terms of use, but I have a question about character transfers.

My friend wants to quit WoW, and wants to transfer his character to my account. We tried last night, but it said that you needed to own both accounts. Is there any way I can take his account for my own, transfer the character, and then cancel it? There's still about 2 weeks left, so even if I put it on my credit card, I wouldn't necessarily have to pay the monthly fee, just the transfer fee.

If anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it.

You need to own both accounts (have the same name on the credit card I think) but doing what your doing is against the EULA

Thanks for the help guys, I didn't think it was against the EULA, but thanks for the heads up so I don't get banned or anything.
