Trying to build an 'easy assemble' flatpack wardrobe that had instructions that were barely in English and several missing pieces. My parrot learned some blue languauge that day!

Worked for 96 straight hours, no sleep, no food, no drinks other than a canteen of water. It was 1990 in Iraq during the Gulf War (the first one). I think when I finally was able to fall asleep, I only slept for about 3 or 4 hours. I was too tired to sleep. I think I lost about 15 pounds during that time too. Good times :)

i've worked 4-5 straight sleepless days a few times after college to beat deadline... i didnt and still dont sleep that much... but does it count if i do it with endless supply for monster/redbull/coffee and various caffeine pill?

i think the answer to this post is obvious... there is nothing longer than Ana's thread.

I have six!

Well 2 african grey parrots and 4 Lovebirds, which although are parrakeet size are classed as miniature parrots.

I have one on my shoulder right now.

Reminds me that I drove to LA from VA to visit my ex. It were 3000+ miles in 2 and 1/2 days. Then, she told me she did not have the feeling for me anymore 3 days later after I arrived.

I drove back from LA to VA in 2 and 1/2 days. hmm - I drove 6000+ miles within 10 days?

Side story - she came back to me 6 months later. Well, sorry - I got someone already. See ya.

She stayed in VA so that made her 3000 miles.

Then she became a millionaire after she opened a restaurant. :ponder:

Did I not make a good decision?

it really didnt sound like u guys were crazy about each other :p more like it's convenient to be together... esp if you're asking yourself questions like "did i make a good decision or not..." you can't possibly really love a person and ask that can you? :)

then again, it IS too bad you didn't get to cash in on the millions :p

You really want to know the detail?

I met her when she was 19 and young people were crazy and unstable. We fell in love but she moved away to a big city 3 month later.

She asked me to move to LA so I grabbed everything I could and drove to LA. 3 days later she told me she did not feel the sparks anymore. Then, I also found a love/farewell notes in her car from a guy saying he had such a good time being with her and would wait for her if it did not work out between me and her. sigh

What could I do? I drove back to VA with a broken heart.

The depression, sorrow, self-blame, and pain stayed in me for more than 2 years.

I just joke about the money part because I personally would choose the L over the M.

Year 2002, She called me before she was about to marry her husband: “I regretted when I left you and I will not let go him like I did it to you. You know you always have a place in my heart, right?”

The end.
