Found out today to my surprise I had a keylogger. My characters, gold and everything I have worked so hard on is gone. I managed to get some software to delete said keylogger and contacted blizzard, but they refuse to restore my characters citing that somehow this is my fault. Anyone have any advise on what I should do?

They should give you a free restore, even if it is your fault. If what I understand is correct you won't get your perfect items, but will get generic equivalents so you'll have lost a bit though.

Keep asking them, but remain polite and stay firm.
