Whats the best class/race builds for NE/BE/Dranai?
Please elaborate as i am new to the game and would like explanations of why these races/classes have synergy.

imo well NEs for example would own as being a rogue due to having +1 stealth detection level racial (see shadowmeld tooltip) and for the +1% dodge racial

for BEs uhmm id have to say any caster class is perfect for BEs because of mana tap and arcane torrent which will be like a mana pot in a pinch

as for draeneis my guess is priest because of far ward and symbol of hope not to mention gift of the naaru would be handy in healing the tank in instances when you run out of mana even if the healing seems nothing it actually helps you do some direct heal since gift of the naaru would stall

thats all i know about which race and class combo is good

I can't think of one awkward race/class combo. Even a Gnome Tank Warrior has it's merits...

There isn't any 1 class that a race is the best for. There might be a race that's best for a class, but that's something else entirely.

An example: BEs makes AWESOME Paladins thanks to their racials letting them pull at range, which is usually not an option 'till high lvls, and the Alliance still not being used to fight Paladins. However, they're also excelent for Rogues as the same racial gives them the edge that'll make or break them when a Mage blinks away, or when they need an energy boost. While it's probably the best race for a tanking paladin, tankadin isn't necessarily the best class for the race.

If I had to make 1 of each, though, I'd go with the Beladin, Draenei Priest, and NE Huntard (cliche, I know, but been 1 for nearly 2 years so can't stop now). In fact I am those race/class combos although my Beladin is only for when my server is down after a patch and I gotta set up my addons.

It isn't hard to take down a pally as any class. Pallies just take a bit more time and can be more frustrating, if i see one bubble up and run I let him run and heal up while i cap off his friends. He comes back, he's dead regardless.

Personally I think Dwarf is the ideal class for hunter due to the Gun spec. I am in agreement with previous poster that the extra % in stealth makes the NE the favorite for Rogue - especially if you have no points in subtlety it can really make the difference.

BE and Drain I know nothing about as I am waiting for BC till I hit lvl 58 and want to go to Outland.

Nelf has better agility at starting, though the dwarf has more stamina.

It doesn't matter much in the long run, but those extra AP points help.

As my main is a Dwarf paladin, my Blood Elf collegues are on my Kill on Sight list. Damn Light abusers.

I have a Draenei Hunter and can vouch for the combo quite well.

Why, you might ask?

The racial heal is just so awesome when I'm handling groups. Fire off a shot to get their attention, send pet on one, toss racial heal on myself and let one or two whack on me while a couple whack on my pet, killing them one at a time and, typically, coming out with very little health loss.

Also, if I send my pet against something particular difficult, racial heal coupled with the new pet mend and my Kitty takes a licking with very little extra aggro my way.

That +5 to guns means squat at lv 70. It really doesn't influence dwarf hunter weapon choice at all. Stoneform and track treasure are much more useful racials, from a dorf PoV.

I loved track treasure on my dwarven rogue for the lockpicking skilling. I love it on my dwarven priest too of course, but I can't imagine how long I'd be going on picking locks if I hadn't had the tracker way back when.

And stoneform is really FTW!

Track treasure is FTW++ for tracking quest items for the "find 17 small swamp-coloured jugs in the Poorly-lit Swamp of Doom" style quests. Just love it :)

Stoneform.. well, what can I say.. It was ages before I realised that it removed the rogue "blind" ability. Gotta love that :)

You mean Glowcaps? Indeed another thing I don't know how I'd get through without track treasure..

No, not glowcaps- though herb tracking works for those too- there's a few other quests which involve finding mud-coloured statues in muddy swamps and the like where it was a godsend. Of course, back in the old world, it was great for getting that darn holy water in strat too. Anyway, track treasure is lovely, anyway :)

Night Elf Hunter is always a nice combo. If you decide to do battlegrounds, you can use your racial Shadowmeld to hide yoursef and then use your pet cat's prowl ability to hide them too!

I personally went for Night Elf warrior, they just looked good and I love charging out of Shadowmeld in battlegrounds.

My alts are a Draenei Hunter (the racial is fantastic to throw on your pet for added healing against elites) and a Gnome Warlock...he just looks badass
