I'm getting my gf the game.

Got some questions about accounts.

1.
She has a char on my account (got her into the game that way ).

If I register the account on my name we will be able to transfer said char but will we be able to play together? If both accounts are on my name and both logged in at the same time, isn't that something Blizzard would see as "fishy"?

2.
Will I be able to log into my account at her home and she at her account at my home?

3.
Is there a lot to download after installation of the burning crusade?

I don't know if the questions belong here, sorry if I posted it wrong :ponder:

She has a char on my account (got her into the game that way ).Great, I did that as well. My girlfriend's brother plays as well, so she made a character on his account so we can play together. Planning to get her a new account for her own anytime soon.If I register the account on my name we will be able to transfer said char but will we be able to play together? If both accounts are on my name and both logged in at the same time, isn't that something Blizzard would see as "fishy"?Not at all. You are perfectly allowed to "play with yourself" if you own two accounts. So I don't see why this would be a problem.2.
Will I be able to log into my account at her home and she at her account at my home?Yup.3..
Is there a lot to download after installation of the burning crusade?Quite some megabytes, but nothing to really worry about. The BC comes with 2.0 already, so you only need to go from there. Check out google for patch mirror sites and you'll be good to go in no time.

Thank you Snow!

about 3, aren't torrents dangerous for keyloggers?

Don't go with a torrent for patch mirrors, go with rather official sites (which I can't mention here because of gold selling adverts, ironically, but for the rest they are clean).

Good course of action is check out the official forums for patch mirrors, they usually are posted there (and are thus safe).

Another way, if you're comfortable with it and have a download limit:wink:, is to go into your existing "World of Warcraft" program directory and you will find all the patch files used by the downloader. Just copy these to an external hd or thumb drive and then run each one in turn to apply the patch. They are all sequentially named as well, below is an example of the file name.

WoW-2.0.3.6299-to-2.0.5.6320-enGB-patch.exe

This is what I did when I recently re-installed my system.

Hope this helps.
