Choosing class.

My friend is just about to start playing wow and he asked what class i would reccomend for a starter.

Any advise?

just tell him to read what each one is about and decide from there. the descriptions at the creation screen gives alot of info. i wouldn't really be able to recommend any particular class for a starter, they are really all easy. which is why the game has so much mass appeal. wow is rpg-easy mode lol. well until u get into the later game stuff at least.

on that note, my first was a rogue and i still have a fondness for rogue just for that. found it really cool to sneak around and be a bit devilish. if he'd like a pet, then hunters and warlocks might appeal to him. but prolly the easiest thing to start out on is a warrior and just go out slicing stuff up. but that is prolly the hardest endgame character to play. tanking in instances is the hardest role to play in wow imo.
