I noticed on youtube..some videos of PvP..I gues Horde Vs Alliance,
and was wondering in order to play in PvP games like that do I need to be in a PvP Realm.. meaning making a new character?

Absolutely not. You can go into battlegrounds and do PvP or you can enter arenas for PvP though for arena action I would suggest only going in every 10 lvls (at 19, 29, 39. 49 etc.).
