Hi everyone I am new here but I just wanted to give everyone a good laugh with this insane person. This guy apparently thinks he has the greatest idea for an MMO but really it is just ridiculous (but hilarious).
Check it out:

Everyone over at the gamefaqs LOTRO board is getting a kick out of it.

You want me to read all of that to find the funny parts?

Alright, here are some of my favorite parts:
First of all, he says how original his idea is, but almost all the races are just ripoffs of generic MMO races with slightly changed names: Dverez, Huran, Elle.

And the "Original" is just a furry:
The Anthroes are a strange and wonderful race of men who have used majics to turn themselves into higher realm half-beasts. They are excellent fighters, and they love to party and dance. The other races do not like the Anthroes, and look down their noses at them. Anthroes can breed with both men and the animals of the forests, but they prefer animals because they are kind and gentle.
WTF?!

Also a quote from the ogre race:
“Grr! I will slash you like a fish in the waters!”
What? Who slashes at fish with a sword?

In the second part he has the worst ideas I have ever seen, he says there will be no NPCs and players would control every enemy and shopkeeper, and make up their own quests.
Just insane...

I'll end with a quote from the list of "game features"

Better-than realistic physics engine which will even model leaves falling if you cut them off a tree

I actually wish MMOs were like that. Star Wars was, no?

How sweet would that be?

Darn, I sold my fishing pole! You head to market row, find another player standing behind an arabia-style vendor cart with a sign hanging above that says "Expert Fishing Supplies"

He crafts lures, poles, strings, etc.

But, in order for him to craft them, he needs to buy the mats off another player controlled vendor.

So he goes down to the thread specialist to buy some silken string that he can craft into the line. He then heads to the lumberjack to get some sturdy wood, then to the leatherworker to get some nice soft leather, to the metallurgist to get a reel made. He then goes back to his shop, makes the fishing pole, and sees he has a requet for a fishing pole with +5 fishing on it. So, he heads to the magic shop, gives the pole to the players there, they work there magic, and hand it back.

etc. etc.

To me that would go too far. It'd be too much like real life to the point that your playing a game that is like work except your being payed fake money.

/shrug it wouldn't exactly fit into a warcraft pewpew type of game, but as a fun economic based game, I think it would go far.

Kind of similar to Secondlife...but they can and do make real life money out of that.

Slightly off topic but its kinda related...How good would a Transformers MMO be . and also to a lesser extent Warhammer 40k although that would be more difficult to create.

I play a game thats sort of a fun economic game but its text based mostly. But still sort of MMO. I think.

No, the stupidest MMO would be The Misc. Wars! There would be two races, the baked turkey, and the crack head panda. It would be like a TPS but with cards you had to collect and your levels would go backword and change everyday....
ROFL!

This has got to be a joke. Surely no one could actually think that this is original?

I'm pretty sure people cannot be that stupid.
