I've been searching for one for a while now and all I can seem to find are ones that haven't been updated in 1yr+, doesn't color syntax correctly, or just plain out doesn't support them both. The closest I've come so far is Crimson Editor, but it's development was stopped a while ago and it's .xml template doesn't seem to work at all.
Currently using WebNotePad which I purchased before I started working with .lua.
Any suggestions?

I've heard some mass-praise for Notepad++ (http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm), which I think may be at Sourceforge.com, but you'd have to do a Google search. I've never used it, so I'm not sure if it handles both Lua and XML, but I've heard only good things about it.
Edit: It does indeed support Lua and XML. Awesome. Maybe I'll pick it up as well. (Link added above.)

Ironically, I was in the middle of installing this when I got the notice of your reply.
Read the reviews and features, gonna check it out. I'll post my opinion up here for other people's potential search for this same topic.

I've used Notepad++. Don't expect it to do anything complicated but if you want some simple syntax higlighting and layout help then it's perfect.

Tried.
Tested.
Satisfied.
Damn awesome, thx for the help. Especially loving the function collapse feature. Makes things a lot easier to manage.

Some of the features and extra downloads look very nice. I can't wait to get home and try this. Like an idiot, I've just been using that crappy Notepad that comes with Windows.
