In game font

How do I alter the in game font ? Not in the chat boxes, those are in an acceptable font, but the names/guild tags/zones/tooltip etc etc ?

Checkout the fontpack too. I found the default fonts included to be god-awful and couldn't use it; but then again that's my opinion.

There is like 3 or 4 font packs available, I only use the pack2, it has the font I use.

create four copies of the font file of your choice, place them Font folder, and rename them to the following names:
FRIZQT__.ttf (the main UI font)
ARIALN.ttf (the normal number font)
skurri.ttf (the 'huge' number font)
MORPHEUS.ttf (Mail, Quest Log font)

Okay - question.

Already had a mod altering the chat/combat log font, which I quite liked (think it was part of sct that did it).

I tried just blanking out the lines in the design.lua pertaining to the chatbox (first by deleting 'em, then by just adding -- in front of 'em), but that apparently isn't appreciated. It's turning buggy.

How do I disable that portion exactly and leave the rest up n running ?

Ohhh, that quest font is Morpheus. I knew I recognized it.

Figured it might be just as easy to replace the common Questlog/Regular in game font, but that'd be a bit harder then. Any suggestions ? Or just how to fix me that design.lua ?

In your wow directory, make a folder named Fonts. and do the other part I told you. :D

Roger, so I can ignore the Frizqt one, as the chatlog/combatlog font are okay, and just replace the other three ?

Right, got it to work - the corresponding fonts didn't completely work as you said (or I interpreted it) as one of them did change the chat font, but a bit of fiddling later, I got it to show the way I wanted.

Frizqt is what changes that chat I think. I have all mine set to the Charcoal UI font, and one of the font's from MSBT.

Nope. Had to put in the Frizqt, skurri and morpheus fonts - chat now is fine.
