You can transfer money between toons on the same server easily enough. For same faction toons, just use the in-game mail system as Chunder said. Unlike items, gold will transfer immediately.

For inter-faction transfers (on a PVE server), use the neutral AH.

On the character you want to receive the money, go to the neutral AH (booty bay or Gadgetzan), post a grey/white item for whatever amount you want to transfer. Switch to the toon who's providing the gold, and go buy the item.
This, of course, only works on PVE servers.

Note here that you need to recruit the help of a willing friend who will not scam you. You cannot buy your own auctions, so instead..

1. Go to the neutral AH on your faction A character (the one recieving money) and post a useless grey-titled (poor quality) item for the amount of gold you want (taking into consideration [I think] 15% loss for using the neutral AH).

2. Go onto your faction B character (the one losing the money) and give an amount of money equal to the buyout price for the item to a friend. Have that friend search for the exact item your faction A character posted and buy it out.

3. Viola. Now your friend has passed up a chance at stealing a large sum of money for a grey item and your alt has that same large sum of money sitting in his mailbox.

In-game mail for transfers on same realm/faction.

Neutral AH for transfers on same realm, but different factions. Requires the (fully legit) participation of 2 accounts. Can even be done without any outside help if you're a (also full legit unlike common beliefs) dualboxer.

For transfers between realms I don't believe there's any rules stating that you cannot recieve a large sum of money from someone you only just met, and then give that person an equally large sum of money on another realm. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Alternatively you can transfer money between realms using the Paid Character Transfer system. If you'll be wanting to get over larger amounts than what a lvl 1 char can carry, spend some time researching the AH of the realm you're transfering to, then buy some items that'll sell for a lot on that realm as well as 4 bags to put it all in. I'd suggest TBC shards, essences, or primals as they'll sell for a lot compared to the amount of bagspace they take up.
A bit more expensive, but a whole lot safer (at least you'll only lose some of the money if there's a sudden price-drop in whatever you're trying to sell).

Do not participate in cross Realm trades.
We do not support any trades of gold or items across Realms (servers). The risk is placed entirely on the player's shoulders. If you engage in these types of transactions, you run a huge risk of being scammed.

I'm on a PvE server and I want to trade my money to another toon, in which I will do the same to a third toon. Here's what I want to do in more detail. Toon named Kronaed transfers money to (random named toon). Once money is on new toon, then I will delete my warrior named Kronaed, and create a new toon named Kronaed but a different class then transfer money from (RNT) to new toon.

What you're describing?
Mail it, it'll cost you 30c every time you do it, but it's the fastest way to do it.

(Same faction issue still applies though)

I did say a PCT was safer didn't I?

Getting scammed still beats getting banned. Admittedly I could've emphasized the risk more clearly..

PCT? Does this mean the mail way can get me banned? If true then I guess I'll be stuck being a Warrior for the rest of my days.

Nope, you won't get banned. All data transfers will show that you're mailing money to your own characters, nothing wrong with that. If, you're solo'ing and you get a nice drop for one of your other classes, why not mail it to that other class??

Plus, it even says on Blizzard's own in-game loading screen tip section that you can mail stuff to your other characters.

So don't sweat it.

PCT = Paid Character Transfer = Only safe way to transfer money between servers.
See the above post for same-server transfer.

Oh and other than that, transfering gold will NEVER get you banned, they don't care as it's only a couple of bits being changed 2 places in their database. Buying it, however, will get you banned, and for all I know this includes exchanging money in this game for money in other games.

I won't ever buy it. Well it worked. I got my money on my mage now.

Good. The way I see it, buying gold might save you some time, but your RL money is so much better spent on alchohol - more fun, lasts longer, and in small amounts it's actually healthy.

I prefer to save my money in real life like I do on the game. I want a 360.

Forgive the double post for I have read the rules but I do not know if anyone will post here again. I have another question on the topic. How exactly do you transfer money from Alliance to Horde toon on a PvE server? And how does PCT work in transfering money to a different toon of a different faction on a different server?

To transfer money from Alliance to Horde is a little bit more tricky, but it can be done with the help of a friend.

If you want to trade money from Alliance to Horde, get your Horde toon to put up an item (something grey for example) on the neutral AH at Gadgetzan, Booty Bay or Winterspring, for the amount of money you want on your Horde character/0.85 (This will take into account the handling fee the neutral AH charges). For example, if you want to give your alliance character 1500G, you would put the item up for 1765G, since 1765-15% = 1500G

Since you can't bid on your own items, you need to give the cash to buy the item to a friend on the Alliance side, who then trundles on to the AH and buys said worthless item. Lo and behold, your Horde character has a mailbox full of gold!

Just make sure you trust your buddy. Nothing like giving a stranger the best part of 1800G to watch him dc and never see him again... lol

Faction-faction has been explained above.

Server-server you set up a lvl 1 char (or a lvl 70, doesn't matter really) with 4 18-slot-bags and fill those bags with something worth a lot on the AH of the server you're transfering to (Shards or Greater Essences for enchanting is probably the best as they don't require an auction fee) and as much cash as you're allowed to transfer at that level, then buy the transfer. If you then need to transfer it to the other faction, too, you simply sell all the shards at the going rates of the server (research this BEFORE transfering), and transfer it as described by other posters above.
