How do u get a mount?

How do u get a mount? is there a certain class or race u have to be?

Your character has to be level 40 & you can only buy your own races mount, unless you get exalted with other races.

you can buy any mount at any time.

however, you need to be lvl 40 for the normal speed land mount, lvl 60 for the fast land mount and lvl 70 for any flying mount. Also note that for land mounts, you need to be exalted whit the race who's mount you want to RIDE, unless it is the race of your class.

You can not get into posession of mounts of the other faction.

There are alot special mounts, like the Zul Gurub mounts, or the mounts of Baron Rivendare or other instance bosses. However, i dont think that you will get near them anytime soon :)

For paladin and warlock classes, they have their own class mount via quest (at lvl 40 & 60). They also get automatically the riding skill associated with the level.

Ok thank you for the infoalso at 60 you can go to battlegrounds, get tokens and then get the faster land mount that way (you will still need to buy the training but you'll save 90 gold on the mount).
