Was thinking of doing a screenshot walk through of how to get to a few places, and some useful bypasses etc.
Just wondering if it would actually help anyone, or if anyone that didn't already know would be interested in a few visual walk throughs of ways to get to places like Ironforge airport, or the ever popular "alliance Highway" that gets you untouched through a large chunk of Barrens enroute to thousand needles, and things of that nature.
I wouldn't mind putting in the time and effort if this is something that might help/interest people here who may not have that info already.
Would this be useful/interesting to anyone?

Given that getting to the airport is regarded as an exploit, it might not be too welcome here.

exploit ? it was a exploit when you could wallwalk there, but nowadays this is not possibe any more.

It s just slowfall from the mage ability or from a noggenfogger elixier, i cannot see how using slowfall would be a exploit ^^

I'm sure horde would be interested in alliance highway.
And if being at IF airport is an exploit and not allowed, then why is there a pet trainer there, as well as trolls I can kill(I got a severing axe of the bear off of one of the lvl 8 trolls there.)? And why would I be able to walk there with no cheats involved, just from the basic commands? I've also been around to the crashed plane you see on the flight from menethil to IF, but fell to my death as i got up to it becuase I wasn't being careful enough.
I have some inborn need to explore, which led me to finding IF airport, the 'safe' way to get from ratchet to the RFK/RFD/Great Lift area, as well as a few other things.
If its ok with the mods/admin here that I show the way to IF Airport(Like I said, I never used any cheats, pots., anything other than cunning and determination.) then I'll show how to get there.
I don't see whats wrong with explorers finding ways to get somewhere without cheats being there.
...Not so sure I want to show my 'alliance highway' with all the horde here, one of them might be on my server. :)

Well OK, this may go long and if a mod/admin feels it needs to be taken down, or if i break any rules, go ahead with my apologies.
Here's a visual walk through to get to IF airport. (Silly me went down to the farm houses on the hillside in wetlands below it, but forgot to take SS's of the way down.)

Step 1: Get to Misty Pine Refuge in dun modr. (remember, I use no cheats or pots to get here, just common sense and determination, and I'll prove that here.)

You're going to want to hang to the right here. Just follow it up for a little while until it doesn't look like you can go any further.

Now this is the hard part, and will take you awhile. It may seem like you can't make it, but if you hit the jump pattern just right you'll get up here. Try sticking toward the right. Once you get up here, its all cake.

Now just go down here to get to this side, then all you have to do is walk up.

When you see these you've made it on top of IF.

Now this is a bit of a fall down and is best to take it in stages. I suggest aiming for the top of this structure as a landing, then jumping the rest of the way. Watch your HP.

You're now at Ironforge Airport. Theres stuff to see, trolls to kill, and if you're good and careful and think it through you can get to the farmhouses below, or walk around the other side to the wrecked plane on the back wall of ironforge. Have fun. I'll post Alliance Highway, and try to go get shot of the way i get down to the farm houses later.
Once again, even though I didn't use any exploits that I know of, or hacks or pots or anything other than my basic keys, if this violates policy do take it down with my apologies.

Nah, I was half asleep, it didn't used to be possible to get there without exploits, but seems things have changed while I was dreaming of electric sheep- I am causing worry without need :) Ooo, I'm a scaremonger.
