So much for advanced weapons and munitions research. Why spend billions of dollars on things like Patriot and Raptor when a couple of badgers appear to have a greater effect upon the theatre?

I thought that bit about them not releasing any poisonous snakes into the river was also quite amusing then again, I get the following image in my head..
British Commander: We have not released giant badgers in Basra, and nor have we been collecting eggs and releasing serpents into the Shatt al-Arab river
Locals: We didn't say anything about no serpents..
British Commander: Oops...
Look at the time(s) (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/iraq/article2062085.ece).

Love the descriptions in the last paragraph. I couldn't help but summarise them in my head :
"Swift as a deer, size of a dog, head of a monkey !!!"
Obviously Winnie the Pooh was mis-classified !

I'm sure some old lady had a pet badger that ran away near the area, and started mating with a random badger and made babies.
