How is arena points calculated

I created an Arena team with a few of my freinds. We hardly care about the rating, but we do care about the Arena points

Non of us know how Arena points are calculted, so i seek for an answer here on the forum

How is Arena points calculated ?

It matters what your rating is the bigger teams get more arena points also. If you go to google and search World of Warcraft Arena Points Calculator then you can find out

I find alot on google, but i'm not fancy of trying the sites out, since i fear some of the sites might be fake and contain keyloggers.

huh what just type in your arena rating how can you get key logged by doing this? I thought keylogger was a virus that needs to be opened to activate....

Well.. i have bin keylogged by using google to look for info on The Burning Crusade pre TBC. Don't trust Google anymore

Team Rating Arena Point Formulae

X = Team Rating, Y = Arena Points

If X<=1500: Y = 0.38*X-194
(note: this calculation can go negative, but will be floored at 0)
If X>1500: Y =1426.79/(1+918.836*e-0.00386405*X)

2v2 teams earn 70% of the points of a 5v5 team with the same rating
3v3 teams earn 80% of the points of a 5v5 team with the same rating
