Hey, I have a orc Warlock and im just not familiar with WoW yet and i was just wondering if there is anyone out there who can help me out and show me the ropes on the game. I tend to be good at these kind of games but im just lost right now because i dont know this game at all. I use to be a really hardcore D2 player and i played guilded wars some too. There are many things going on this game that i dont really understand yet. I just want to be filled in on the game some. Please help

Where are you getting stuck? Covering the entire scope of World of Warcraft is a bit big. There's so much to do.
The number one thing that will make your life easier is reading comprehension. Read every quest you are given. Follow the directions and you'll be fine.
You will make mistakes. That's a given. Don't fret about it. Your first character will not be "optimal" in any sense of the word. Just do your best, ask precise questions, and listen to people's advice.
The good thing about World of Warcraft is you're given opportunities to correct mistakes. Practically no decision in this game is irreversible (in some way.) Feel free to explore different professions, talent trees, etc. You're not locked into anything. The only limitation is the time you put into it.
PS: Read the manual that came with the game. It alone will answer a lot of potential questions.

well, i just feel like what im doing is the long way around stuff, there must be a quicker way to lvl up and such things. I have no idea about what profession is good and what not and i want to know of the different types of warlocks and what each one does, their strentgh and weakness etc. and i went into some hall of legends and just saw all this Amazing gear that cost honor points or something. I have no idea what that is.

First things first, have you read the manual? As Gavriel said, the entire game is a bit much to cover in just one post...

The manual and the official site will help a lot. The stuff about honour points is covered in plenty of detail on the site- they're PvP rewards:

The whole "basics" section is worth a look. Have fun :)

I have no idea what that is.my suggestion for professions you should consider choosing would be gathering. these are herbalism, skinning and mining. Then sell the stuff you get at the auction house.
the hall of legends is where you can turn your honor in for items. You can get honor when you kill alliance members in battlegrounds etc. to buy the items you also need tokens you get from playing in the battlegrounds.
re lvling up: you can do quests and find groups and do some instances.

There is waaaay to much info to even get into.
My suggestion to you would be to tackle each new thing seperately as it takes weeks / months to learn most of the game. I have a 70 and many alts around their 30's and I usually learn somethign new everyday.
There's ton's of info on this site too - search feature is good - also check the your class and the newcomer forums as they will most likely answer some of your questions.
