An in-game video/media player addon: is there such a thing?

I remember a while back when I was playing Dark Age of Camelot there was an XML interface addon for that game which made a resizeable portion of the screen transparent so that you could see what was going on behind the game. One would be able to move a preferred media player into that position and watch a DVD or other video.

Here is a screenshot:

I would love to be able to watch a movie while grinding! I would try to make one myself except not knowing LUA leaves me with no place to start. :\

Hopefully this will inspire someone to make one!

No, WoW does not support video codecs (the intro movies is viewed by a seperate Blizzard coded Divx player just for that movie). To be quite frank if I am grinding I want my eyes on the action as mobs have a way of running off and grabbing friends. If you really want to watch videos while playing, go buy a second video monitor or play WoW in windowed mode with your video player set to be "Always on Top". One caveat about playing videos and WoW at the same time, your RAM and processor will be be very busy and you will lag unless you have a good machine.

Here what I do,

Get yourself a copy of MediaPlayerClassic (google it) it's free. Put your game in window mode and make sure MPC is set to be on top of all windows(always on top). Now remove title bar, slider, button from MPC and enjoy your movie in wow (or on top of it). Size it the way you want and start farming :)

edit : Get the addon SunnArt to resize your rendering game area so you can put your movie on top of wow without missing anything.
