View Full Version : How can it be?
How can it be.. that there are 100+ people viewing constantly ... even 400+ on some threads........
Yet there goes like 3 days of NO NEW POSTS ?
How many people are really active on the forums?!
Everyone needs to invite friends and help this place grow!!

Posting just for the sake of posting, is not necessarily a good thing.
This site is very helpful and full of friendly people.
Those are it's strengths.
...Not how many new (maybe useful, maybe useless) posts are added everyday.
I /cheer for the helpful posts, the funny posts, the useful posts, the intrigueing posts and even the long running debates, but I wouldn't want to be one of the mods if this site suddenly gets a large influx of kiddie-posts that just need to be deleted, moved, or warrant a reprimand.

The site is doing fine
There's 34 Forum areas on this site that usually have new posts every day or so . . . as said before, unlike the official forum - people here don't post just to post (unless it's in offtopic etc) - you won't see any ZOMG BLACKLISTED SUX flame posts etc . . .there's limited / no spamming etc - so it's generally useful information.
I think many of us hit up the official forums for some hilarity . . . I also check my server and battlegroup forums.

There are plenty of new posts..
Ok, some we Mods nuke, then again, we got this problem with goldselling adds and other junk cluttering up our forums.

I hope this does not raise the ire of fluffly or get me the ban hammer but since the domain change that now includes the wording "gamers" the traffic to this site seems to have slowed.
I do not have hard data, i do not have any evidence. However I have noticed some individuals claiming that they have access again now. magikhat for one.
I could be wrong, and most often am. But to answer the ops question, i believe we have seen a slowdown here since the change.

It looks that way to me too. (Long time lurker) A lot of older posters have disappeared as well. kcma, Stigg, djiss. They're just not seen anymore.

Stigg is here, kcma is on the move and job change from what i understand.
I haven't seen a lot of people...magic has reappeared and djiss has been absent for some time it seems.
I only post from work, so if I am on any kind of vacation or the weekend I don't come here at all.

Mostly of course "what build" but in different wording and arangement.
1 or two topics in the raid forums.
Not much interesting things.

Same here, and I've been home sick since last Thursday. On the upside I leveled my Pali from barely 61 to 63 1/3.

Not sure why you would assume that - the AoE Prot pallie kicks some serious booty and from what I have seen leaves ret in the dust.

Because most of the paladins that I talk to pre-70 are ret.
I'm not saying it is the best, just the most common.
Kind of like the night elf race.

Nothing wrong with NE's.. Though, after having leveled three of them 50+, I kinda wish I had chosen another race..

As far as the priest class goes, their racials are terrible. However, it seems the majority of priests I run into are NE.
Just like the majority of paladins I talk to 61-69 are ret. Maybe not the best, but the most common.

My human priest and my Prot pallie feel SO stereotyped now :( (actually he is not prot yet as AoE is pretty much worthless till lvl 35 which is when I respec).

I put a Serach engine in one of my bots once - darn thing caught on fire. I no longer use Serach parts for my bots at all.
